For the flagship AT&T store in Chicago, we were asked to design a flock a doves to fly across the ceiling. This is the prototype. Over 100 other were made along with another sitting bird design.
In the center of the store, AT&T requested a 10 foot tall tree with a span of 9 feet. The table weights over 200 pounds to keep the top half stable.
The tree/table in store. It will eventually be decorated with paper garlands. Note the paper birds sitting in the tree tops
Over 100 3-D paper birds fly from pillar to pillar in the flagship store.
Hung at various levels, each bird had wired wings so they can be poised in different positions.
Spanning a distance of 20 feet and over 10 feet wide, the flock starts low and flies skyward.
This display was so successful that AT&T has decided to use it again the fallowing year.
